New UKGC Casinos 2026: Every New Operator by Release Date

Thirteen operators have picked up a new UK remote casino licence in 2026, and the most recent is Midnite, whose Gibraltar-based licensing company went live on 11 August 2026. Checked against the UKGC register in October 2026, no further casino release dates have landed since then, so August is the latest month on the board.

The year splits into three kinds of newcomer. There are genuinely new brands (Brillbet, Bigbangbet, proper.bet, Stakewise, royalol.co.uk, rambobet.co.uk), overseas brands entering Britain (Betty from Ontario, DC Bet from a Cyprus company, Lottofy from Malta), and familiar names adding or moving a casino licence (Midnite, Dabble, the Hippodrome and Horizons).

June was the busiest month with three release dates: Bigbangbet on 3 June, Brillbet on 15 June and DC Bet on 25 June. July added Lottofy on 10 July and rambobet.co.uk on 28 July. January, March, May and August each had one.

Two names people keep searching for sit just outside the list. Silkbet Limited holds casino and betting licences dated 7 May 2026, but silkbet.co.uk had not launched when we last checked; technology firm Digitain announced a turnkey platform deal with Silkbet in August 2026 and no go-live date has been published. rambobet.co.uk is on the register as an active domain for Ballyhack Sports and Gaming (BSG) Limited, yet its homepage was not loading as a live site in early October.

The release date on this page is the day the operator's remote casino licence started on the Gambling Commission register. It is not the day the website opened, and the two can be weeks or months apart.

Betty is the clearest example: its casino licence started on 1 April 2026, but the brand only went live for UK players on 1 June 2026. Silkbet shows the other extreme, licensed in May and still not trading in October.

A release date also does not always mean a brand new business. The Hippodrome in Leicester Square has held a land-based casino licence since 2011, and its current remote casino licence dates from 12 February 2026. Dabble has taken sports bets in Britain since April 2025 and added casino on 22 January 2026. Midnite has traded here for years; the August date belongs to a newly licensed Gibraltar company carrying the midnite.com domain.

So use the date as a signal of when the casino permission began, then open the operator's licence page to see whether you are looking at a start-up, a rebrand or an established firm reorganising.

Most of 2026's new casinos are run by companies registered outside Britain, and the brand on the homepage rarely matches the company on the licence. Lottofy is run by Clobet Limited in St Julian's, Malta. Bigbangbet sits with InnoBoom Limited in Birkirkara, Malta. DC Bet is licensed to Playterry Ltd in Limassol, Cyprus, and Betty's UK casino is held by Betty Gaming (Malta) Limited.

This matters when you want to self-exclude or complain. A ban you set at one site does not automatically cover a sister brand run by the same company, so GAMSTOP is the safer route if you want to block every UK-licensed site at once.

Some of these companies also hold software licences, not just casino ones. SpeadBoom Ltd (royalol.co.uk), InnoBoom Limited (Bigbangbet) and Betty Gaming (Malta) Limited are all licensed to supply gambling software, which can mean the same platform powers other brands you have never linked to them.

If a site you have found is not on this list and claims to be a new UK casino, search its exact domain on the Gambling Commission public register. If the domain is missing or marked inactive, do not deposit.

• Confirm the exact domain, including .co.uk, .com or .uk, sits under the company named in the site's footer.
• Read the withdrawal and verification terms before you deposit; new sites often ask for ID before the first cash-out.
• Set deposit limits on day one and note the operator's complaints address and its independent dispute service.
• Look for the brand's age and identity checks: every UK-licensed site must verify you are 18 or over before you play.

Midnite at www.midnite.com is the newest entry of 2026, with a release date of 11 August 2026. It is not a new brand: Midnite has offered sports betting and casino in Britain for several years and has been Wolverhampton Wanderers' front-of-shirt sponsor.

What is new is the licensee. Midnite Limited, account 101839, is based at Irish Place in Gibraltar and holds remote casino, bingo, pool betting and real and virtual event betting licences. Check the details on the Midnite Limited licence page and in our Midnite review.

rambobet.co.uk is the only domain registered to Ballyhack Sports and Gaming (BSG) Limited, whose casino and real and virtual event betting licences started on 28 July 2026. The company's head office is in Straffan, County Kildare, Ireland.

The domain is active on the register, but the homepage was not serving a live site in early October 2026, so treat any page claiming to be Rambobet with caution until it launches. Malta-based lottery betting and casino brand bringing lottofy.co.uk to Britain. · Release date: 10 July 2026

lottofy.co.uk is the UK domain for Lottofy, a lottery betting brand that already runs lottofy.com with a casino section under a Malta Gaming Authority licence. Its UK casino and real event betting licences started on 10 July 2026.

Casino, bingo and sports betting brand run from Cyprus across three domains. · Release date: 25 June 2026

DC Bet trades on three active domains, www.dcbet.co.uk, www.dcbet.com and www.dcbet.uk, with casino, bingo and real event betting licences that started on 25 June 2026.

London-registered casino and sports betting newcomer on two domains. · Release date: 15 June 2026

Brillbet runs on brillbet.co.uk and brillbet.com, both active on the register, with casino and real event betting licences from 15 June 2026.

Behind it is UK Digital Bookmakers Ltd, account 101570, registered at City Road in London. It is one of the few 2026 newcomers with a British head office, which gives UK players a domestic company to complain to. Bigbangbet at bigbangbet.co.uk opened June's run of releases, with a casino licence dated 3 June 2026. It holds no betting licence, so it is a casino-only brand.

proper.bet is an independent British sportsbook that also offers casino, live casino and virtuals. Its casino and real and virtual event betting licences started on 22 May 2026, making it May's only new casino operator with a live site.

Betty is the Ontario-born, casino-only brand focused on slots and bingo, trading here on playbetty.co.uk with betty.com also active. Its licence started on 1 April 2026 and the UK site went live on 1 June 2026, Betty's first market outside Canada.

No new remote casino licences have started since Midnite on 11 August 2026, based on the register in October 2026. Some licensed brands are still preparing to launch, such as rambobet.co.uk and Silkbet, so a site can appear months after its licence date. We add each new release date as it lands.

Is silkbet.co.uk live yet?

Not as of October 2026. Silkbet Limited's casino and betting licences started on 7 May 2026, and Digitain signed a turnkey platform deal with Silkbet in August, but no launch date has been announced. Until the site goes live, ignore any page offering Silkbet sign-up bonuses.

Who owns rambobet.co.uk?

rambobet.co.uk is registered to Ballyhack Sports and Gaming (BSG) Limited, account 101732, based in Straffan, County Kildare, Ireland. Its casino and betting licences started on 28 July 2026. Check the exact domain is active under the operator on the Gambling Commission register, read the withdrawal and ID rules before depositing, and set limits from the start.
