UKGC fines and regulatory actions (13 October 2026)

The UK Gambling Commission publishes every regulatory action it takes against a licensee: the sanctions it imposes and the settlements it agrees. This tracker is built from that public register and refreshed every week. It currently lists 102 actions against 94 businesses (84 sanctions and 18 settlements), with £46,664,721 in stated financial penalties and payments in lieu. The most recent decision is dated 7 October 2026. Updated 13 October 2026.

The register keeps each action for three years, so the earliest year shown is not a full year.

Remote (online) operating licences that the business register shows as suspended now, or as revoked, surrendered or lapsed with an end date in the last 12 months. A surrender is the licensee's own decision, often because a business closed or merged, and is not a sanction. "Revoked - Non Payment of Fee" is the register's wording for a licence revoked because its annual fee was not paid. The date is the End Date the register gives.

Everything on these pages comes from the UK Gambling Commission's public register. We read it every week (Tuesdays) and rebuild the pages from it, so they show what the register shows on the day we checked: last checked 13 October 2026, register dated 13 October 2026. Nothing is added by hand, estimated or rewritten.

• Regulatory actions: the register of regulatory actions, read from its printable version (the Commission publishes no CSV of it). Each action links to its own entry on the register.
• Licence status: the Commission's business register downloads (businesses and licences CSV files), matched to actions by the licence account number.

What is counted. Actions against businesses on the business register. Actions against personal licence holders (individual staff) are left out, and where a business licence is held by a person in their own name (a sole trader or partnership) we show "Name on the register", linked to the entry, instead of the name. That check reads the name only, so a charity named after a person can be shown that way too. A sanction is imposed by the Commission; a settlement is agreed with the licensee instead of a sanction. Amounts are financial penalties and payments in lieu of a penalty, and only where the register states one; divestments and the Commission's costs are not added. The register keeps each action for three years, so older cases are not here.

Limits. We publish facts only (names, dates, the kind of action, stated sums and the licence conditions involved) and link to the Commission's own pages for the findings: read those for the detail. A company with no action listed is not a guarantee that it is safe, and an action does not mean a site is unsafe today. Spotted a mistake?
