That rebrand explains the spread of names people search for: bar one racing, barone racing, baroneracing, bar 1 racing and even one bar racing all point to the same bookmaker. The licensed company name on the register stays Bar-One Racing Limited.

The official app is listed as BAR 1 Betting & Casino on the Apple App Store, and the company says it is also on Google Play. If an app or site uses the old Bar One Racing branding with a different web address, treat it with suspicion.

Bar One Racing was founded by Barney O'Hare, who is also its chief executive. He opened the first Bar One betting shop in Dundalk, Co. Louth, in the early 1990s after working on-course pitches at Irish racecourses.
